About Loop
Loop Art Critique is an experimental residency program conducted entirely on a metaverse campus in Onland. The platform unites digital artists from diverse backgrounds for constructive critique, feedback, and exhibition — focused solely on the artwork.
Artists participate in live critique sessions, curate exhibitions in The Salon, and exhibit freely in The Salon des Refuses. Loop investigates the formulaic history of western studio art education and reimagines it for the spatial internet.
Founded by Ariel Baron-Robbins, Loop is part of ICA Miami's Art & Research Center and hosted on Onland.io, developed by the non-profit MUD Foundation.
Residency
Six weeks of live critiques followed by collectively curated exhibitions. Artists receive honorariums for their participation.
