about BBRAIO
BBRAIO is an artist and animator based in Bologna, Italy, whose work encompasses digital experimentation, soundscapes, installation and moving image. Born in South Tyrol in 1993, he approaches animation as an immersive medium to explore atmosphere and sensory experience.
His practice spans both artistic and commercial realms, creating experimental short films and video art installations while also producing animated music videos and commercials for clients. This allows him to maintain a sustainable creative practice.
BBRAIO holds a Master's degree in Comics and a Bachelor's degree in Painting from Italian fine arts academies. He has taught at the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna and MIND - Merano Innovation District, and regularly collaborates with self-published magazines and creative studios across Italy.
